This episode of Gossip Girl follows the stars of the Upper East Side through several very eventful and drama-filled days.
The van der Woodsen and Bass family, newly joined as one, host a housewarming party to help the press see Bart Bass's "family man" side. Unfortunately, Serena blows up on her mother, revenge for the 17 years she left Serena and her brother Eric to fend for themselves. Don't worry, the media got it all on tape.
Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf try to get back at Vanessa, Dan Humphrey's best friend, for the wrongs they believe she's done to them.
Blair bets Chuck that he can't seduce Vanessa, but get jealous when he almost succeeds. She calls off the bet and tries to get Chuck for herself. Surprisingly, Chuck turns her down.
Nate Archibald and Dan have recently gotten pretty close. But apparently not close enough for Nate to admit that and that he is on his own, living in an unfurnished house after his family lost all their money.
Dan accidentally discovers the secret and embarrasses Nate by telling him so. However, Dan eventually convinces Nate to crash at his place.
